First, I'll start with eight services that operate within the U.S. Then outline one or two services for each province or region of Canada.
U.S Organic Food Delivery Services:
- Door to Door Organics delivers organic food to the states of Colorado and Michigan, as well as the cities of Kansas City and Chicago.
- Suburban Organics which delivers to New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware are now part of the Door to Door Organics family.
- Urban Organics delivers organic food to the New York tri-state area (including Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut).
- Boxed Greens services many areas in Arizona, including Phoenix, Tempe, Scotsdale and Mesa. They also will ship elsewhere in Arizona, and even nationwide in the U.S.
- Greenling's organic food delivery service was started in Austin, Texas, but now serves many surrounding communities, as well as San Antonio and Dallas/Fort Worth.
- Boston Organics delivers organic food in, wouldn't you know it, the Boston area.
- Spud stands for "Sustainable Produce Urban Delivery". They deliver to communities along the northwestern coast such as Seattle, the San Francisco Bay area, Los Angeles and Orange County.
- Green Polka Dot Box is a membership-based online grocery store offering "natural and organic, non-GMO foods at wholesale prices, and delivers them directly to your doorstep." They deliver nationwide in the U.S.
Canadian Organic Food Delivery Services:
- Spud is also available in Canada, but only in British Columbia and Alberta, specifically Vancouver and Vancouver Island, Calgary and Edmonton.
- Green Earth Organics is available in Vancouver and Victoria too, as well as Calgary, Toronto, the Fraser Valley, Sea-to-Sky and Simcoe-Muskoka.
- The Organic Box delivers organic produce to the Edmonton area of Alberta.

- Home Grown Organic Foods delivers fresh organic food to the fine folks in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

For example: I didn't immediately find an organic food delivery service for Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. But when I searched for it specifically using the keywords above, and replaced "Saskatoon" for the blank, I found New Life Organic Foods.
If you need a specific item, but can't find it locally, I suggest visiting Local Harvest. You may be able to find a supplier that will ship the specific item to you.
For example: I'm interested in sourcing whole culinary lavender. Unfortunately, that's extremely difficult to come by here on the Canadian prairies. But I found it here at Local Harvest.
